- The purpose of the Dr. Frederick Jones Sr. Family Scholarship Fund will be to provide scholarships to graduating high school seniors of Southwest Dallas from Duncanville, DeSoto, Cedar Hill, and Lancaster, Texas who are pursuing a degree in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or medicine at any accredited 2-year or 4-year college or university in the United States or its possessions. Eligibility: Applicants must: be in good standing as a student have a cumulative high school or college GPA of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale take the SAT or ACT graduating seniors of a high school in Duncanville, DeSoto, Cedar Hill, or Lancaster, Texas
